Sec. 33.
The recording of an assignment of a mortgage shall not, in itself, be deemed notice of such assignment to the mortgagor, his heirs or personal representatives, so as to invalidate any payment made by them, or either of them to the mortgagee.

Holy cow. I was told by several people that getting a deed recorded would take 7-10 days. So I thought I'd give deeds.com a try with their e-filing service. The form was useful, however the formatting is terrible once completed. A lot of white space with no option to remove extra spacing or to improve the overall formatting.

It would be helpful to be able to edit verbiage on the form. I was preparing a Deed of Distribution; therefore, there was no consideration paid. I had to type the language into a Word document instead.
