This is a Limited or Specific Power of Attorney in which the first party, Principal authorizes a second Party, Attorney-in-fact, to sell a certain property on your behalf. In this power of attorney, you are permitting the Attorney-in fact to do all acts that you might or could have done in the SALE of a specific property. A "Special Instructions" section is included, where the preparer can further limit or define the powers of the Agent. This form is durable (shall remain effective even if you become disabled or incompetent) and is governed by the laws of New Jersey.

The deeds were a very reasonable price. However, it was made to seem like it was part of Jefferson County, and I didn't love the deceptiveness.

The form was short, and explainable.. so that is my feed back on that...but we have not received anything back to actually see if we filled the form out correctly. I downloaded the quit claim deed form and saved it on my computer. I opened it with Adobe and filled it out. The space for the legal description was too small (2 lines only) which did not allow enough room for the long property description that I had.

I used deeds.com to complete a gift deed for transferring a house to our son. The registrar filing the deed told me she was impressed with the work we did. An attorney would have charged $150 so the $28.00 was well worth the money.

Glad to have all of the helpful extra information, even though they don't answer all questions for all situations. So, I accessed public records and asked questions at the auditor's office. Also, on my Mac computer, filling out the actual deed form is a challenge because the screen jumps to the last page everytime I try to type a few letters or hit the return key, so I'm rollling back up to the first 2 pages after most keystrokes. A bit annoying. Overall, happy to have these form options are available! There is really no need to wait and pay for an attorney when all the information needed is available via public records. Fill in the blanks!
