North Dakota law (specifically N.D.C.C. § 32-18-01 through 32-18-08) governs land contracts (contracts for deed), and the Notice of Contract for Deed is explicitly referenced in the statutory process for cancellation and enforcement.
Recording a Notice of Contract for Deed ensures:
Public notice of the buyer’s equitable interest.
The buyer is protected from claims by future buyers or creditors of the seller.
Triggering of statutory procedures if the seller wants to cancel the contract under Chapter 32-18.

Pros, quick purchase and document availability including instructions and examples. Cons, For the cert. of trust, the form would not accept the length of our trust name with no way to get around. The pdf file printing did not meet the requirements for 2.5" top margin and .5" other margins as well as the 10pt font size as the form information was shrunk down even when normal printing.

I found the process of downloading and completing the documents very user friendly. Thank you for the Declare Value instructions. It was easy to follow, though a sample of the declaration form would be very useful. I didn't know how to list my "capacity" so I left it blank so the recorder could advise me. Excellent - no reservations. I used them on a Sunday and had my info on Monday. Not only did they execute the order flawlessly, the fixed my screw up* immediately. *I hit refresh before the "secured" page transmitted, so I created (2) two orders of the same item.
