Recording Fees
These government fees are separate from any Deeds.com service fees. Confirm current charges with the recorder's office.
In accordance with Illinois statutes, Chapter 55 ILCS 5/3-5018, a fee is charged for document recording. The fee varies with type: standard vs. non-standard forms.Standard forms are 8 1/2" x 11" and contain a 3" x 5" space in the upper right hand corner of the first page for the recorder's stamp. The fee for recording is $72.00.
Non-standard forms are 8 1/2" x 14" or other size. The fee for recording is $93.00.
Release recording on 8 1/2" x 11" paper is $54.00 for the first release. Each additional release is $7.00.
Any other size sheet is also subject to the non-standard fee.
Plat Recording (Please provide one original and five copies.) $93.00, Either a cover page or plat act affidavit must be included to scan into our system.
Survey Recording (Please provide one original and five copies.) $72.00 per survey. Either a cover page or plat act affidavit must be included to scan into our system.
