Type size, and a missing heading where the paper complies with Property Code § 11.008(c), do not trigger the increase. An instrument conveying an interest in real property that lacks a mailing address for each grantee may be recorded on payment of a penalty filing fee equal to the greater of $25 or twice the statutory recording fee (Property Code § 11.003).

Plats/maps (must be approved through Commissioner's Court): recording fee $50.00, Record Management $10.00 and Record Archive $10.00, total $70.00. Posting notices/foreclosure sale notices: $2.00 (PC §51.002(f)); recording of trustee/foreclosure sale notices in the property records is charged regular recording fees.
