Type size, and a missing heading where the paper complies with Property Code § 11.008(c), do not trigger the increase. Any illegible page, any page without the name printed under all signatures, and any page larger than 8½" X 14" is charged double the filing fee of that page. A document conveying interest or ownership in real property without the grantee's address is charged double the filing fee of the entire document. Plats: one Mylar page (same subdivision) $172.00; two Mylar pages $223.00; field notes and tax certificates included. Federal tax lien or release: $10.00 recording fee (Property Code §14.005) plus records management and archive fees, $30.00 total. State tax lien or release: $15.00 total, with no archive fee.
