This is a recorded document used to assign a previously recorded mortgage to another party, this is typically done when a mortgage has been sold or through administration of estates. Included is a "Notice of Assignment of Mortgage" form, by law the current borrowers must be notified of the mortgage assignment.

Title 43 - WILLS AND DECEDENTS' ESTATES.
Chapter 2 - ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATES.
Article 16 - Sale of Personal Property.

Section 43-2-420 - Assignment or transfer of mortgages, notes or accounts.
Executors and administrators may assign and transfer by endorsement, without recourse or warranty, any mortgages, notes or accounts belonging to a decedent, provided he receives the full amount due thereon, and provided said mortgages, notes or accounts shall have been entered on the inventory returned to the court.

Everything went well except that any information that I typed in on the computer download moves upward so that the letters or numbers are somewhat elevated above the line that should be even with the words on the form. I think it will be acceptable to the county recorder, but I don't especially like to submit things that appear uneven. I asked for help but just received a robotic reply that said to take steps that I already had done. So unless you know a way to correct this I likely won't use your forms again.

I tried 3 local attorneys and got no where , wrong information, to busy and another one was very rude. One said he'd do it then didn't. I was so stressed and tried a different online form company advertising an in person attorney within hours. They did call back but gave me the wrong answer. I needed a form used in NC and knew about it from the clerk of the court. The deadline was approaching, I looked one more time and found Deeds.com. The form itself was very good and easy to use. The only problem I had was the Sample they provided. Using a different name in every spot doesnt help determine what goes where. Using "Theodore Rockafeller" as Lien Claimant in one spot and Jebediah Finklestein in another then Harvey Johnson in the last spot is confusing if you really need a helpful sample.

This is a wonderful service and your staff is very responsive through the chat. My one suggestion is that there be an added sentence to your instructions that sates that once you upload there is nothing more to do as in a "submit" or "Finished uploading" button. After uploading instinct says there is something to click to let you all know that we have finished with our uploads.

The website was easy to navigate but only needed one form. The guide was helpful also. Cost want high but contains many documents that I didn't need but may someday. Could not save form after completed but printed copies that needed to be court filed.
