This is a general statutory power of attorney guided by the Alabama Uniform Power of Attorney Act, Chapter 1A, Title 26, that becomes (effective when executed unless the principal provides in the power of attorney that it becomes effective at a future date or upon the occurrence of a future event or contingency.) (26-1A-109)
Unless otherwise stated this power of attorney is Durable meaning (not terminated by the principal's incapacity.) (26-1A-102(2))
(A principal may designate one or more successor agents to act if an agent resigns, dies, becomes incapacitated, is not qualified to serve, or declines to serve. A principal may grant authority to designate one or more successor agents to an agent or other person designated by name, office, or function. Unless the power of attorney otherwise provides, a successor agent: (1) has the same authority as that granted to the original agent; and (2) may not act until all predecessor agents have resigned, died, become incapacitated, are no longer qualified to serve, or have declined to serve.) (26-1A-111(b)
Every power given is defined by an Alabama Statute, real property can be listed, the form can be recorded in the County Probate Office.

Excellent - no reservations. I used them on a Sunday and had my info on Monday. Not only did they execute the order flawlessly, the fixed my screw up* immediately. *I hit refresh before the "secured" page transmitted, so I created (2) two orders of the same item.

I am delighted with the form. I just had to go through so much time and expense in order to use it. First, from your site I downloaded Adobe Acrobat. It totally compromised my computer. I had to get a computer expert to walk me through deleting adobe, and put a substitute on in order to use the form. That was an expense of $60.00. Then after that I still had a hard time getting the program to work, as the substitute program would not accept my e-mail address and I finally had to get someone on line to help me access that. I found it was a $$30.00 charge for the substitute. After fighting these lovely roadblocks, I was finally able to fill in the only form I needed and print it off. Took me two days to accomplish that. Why on earth do you offer adobe when it can compromise a computer so badly? Dealing with my husbands death and then having to deal with this, just one of many deterrents, well let's put it this way, it did not make my two days.

I liked the software, it's very easy to use. Once it's saved as a .pdf document on your computer, the source document is lost when you log out. I wish it could be saved and then edited on their site later instead of having to create a new document from scratch each time.
