Are there any recurring fees involved?
No. Nothing to cancel, no memberships, no recurring fees.
Use this form to release a Mortgage that has been satisfied and/or paid in full. The lender/secured creditor shall record a satisfaction within 30 days after the lender receives full payment and performance of the secured mortgage. If a satisfaction is not sent to the mortgagors/borrowers, the lender ((a) is liable to the mortgagors for five hundred dollars ($500)) [and any actual economic damages directly caused by the failure to comply with this section.] (Section 35-10-92(c)) [Section 35-10-92(d)]
(The satisfaction in full by any one of several joint) lenders/(mortgagees, or his successors or assigns, on the margin of the record, and properly attested by the probate judge, or his chief clerk, or the filing of a release) of mortgage (by such party properly notarized, acknowledging full satisfaction of any mortgage in the names of two or more persons jointly as) lenders/(mortgagees standing on the probate records of any county in) the State of Alabama, (shall be sufficient to extinguish the lien of such mortgage.) I am still in the trial stage. I am an older lawyer. Any help I can get is worth it. Once you get used to the format and data fill in the deed thing is excellent. Very professional if not a little slow. I have only done three deeds in one state so I will have to see how it goes. I like the product and their attitude towards pleasing the customer. We'll see when I try the recording part.

My sale is a land contract and it is complicated. We were thinking we'd have to get an attorney. Your site is very thorough and helpful. Not a fan. Filling in the WI RE transfer return was simple enough. However, it downloaded as a DOR file and I can't find a program to open it. So, I have no way to print the form to complete the process.
