Under Iowa Code 614.14, the affidavit of corporate trustee is used in conjunction with a trustee's deed executed by a corporate trustee. The affidavit is a sworn statement confirming the title held by the corporate trustee is free and clear of adverse claims. It is recorded and presented to the purchaser along with the trustee's deed.

It would be really nice if you had an example of the document full size that can be examined/read before having to pay. I was gambling that it was the exact document that I needed when I paid my fee. Fortunately, it was, and I commend you for that.

I'm very impressed. We're a small nonprofit, and we usually walk our documents into our county offices for recording. So I was a little bit skeptical about how things would work if we did it electronically. But it was a smooth, quick, painless, and reasonably priced process. This was such a money saver. I was told by someone at the courthouse that I had to have a lawyer prepare the paper work for my mom. They stated that family members couldn't prepare the papers. I was hopeful when I found that I could prepare the survivorship affidavit on Deeds. I was able to prepare everything myself and had no issues today when at the courthouse for all the changes.
