Use this assignment to assign a current mortgage to another entity. This is usually done when the mortgage has been sold.
Any mortgage of real property that has been or may hereafter be recorded shall be assigned by an instrument acknowledging the assignment of such mortgage. , (signed by the mortgagee or such mortgagee's duly authorized attorney in fact, assignee of record, personal representative or by the lender or a designated closing agent acting as a closing agent in the sale, financing or refinancing of the real estate subject to such mortgage who has caused the indebtedness to be paid in full upon compliance with K.S.A. 58-2309a, and amendments thereto, and duly acknowledged and certified as other instruments affecting real estate. Such instrument shall contain the name of the mortgagor and mortgagee, a legal description of the property and the volume and page in which the mortgage is recorded.)(58-2306(a))
Where the mortgagee or assignee of record is a firm or partnership, such mortgage shall be assigned or discharged by an instrument acknowledging the assignment or satisfaction of such mortgage as hereinbefore provided. Such instrument shall be signed either by each member of the firm or partnership, or by the firm or partnership, or by the firm or partnership by one of the members thereof. (58-2306(c))

Navigating the site was fine, but the service was not able to find my deed. Still have not received my refund.
Thanks for your feedback Kenneth. Sorry we were not able to pull the deed for your property. We voided your payment on December 28, 2018. Sometimes, depending on your financial institution, it can take a few days for the pending charge (hold) to expire.

This site was recommended to me. The deed worked just fine for recording a property transfer (Warranty Deed). What I like is that there is a 1 time fee, not a subscription. I would highly recommend. It saved us $2000 in closing costs and fees.

Good so far could use more examples for each section of info. needed. ex. (parcel and alt.ID info where to find and etc. #2 more examples. If it was not for the red print examples helping to fill the form out I could have downloaded free forms, the examples are what made me choose your form !

Great to have a downloadable form, rather than a cloud solution that gives no guarantee of privacy. Appreciated the sample.......but all of that still left me with open issues about how to tweak the form to serve my particular needs......for example: how to ensure that survivor rights were properly characterized; how far back I should go with the "Source" section + how I should layer my own additions to the chain of ownership, etc. Nonetheless, an overall happy experience. I would not have ordered this form had I realised how limited the fields are for details. There is no room for elaboration of terms. The language only allows one grantor and one grantee, and the gender and quantity default construction is a poor choice. Be basic, but leave room for more.
