Great to have a downloadable form, rather than a cloud solution that gives no guarantee of privacy. Appreciated the sample.......but all of that still left me with open issues about how to tweak the form to serve my particular needs......for example: how to ensure that survivor rights were properly characterized; how far back I should go with the "Source" section + how I should layer my own additions to the chain of ownership, etc. Nonetheless, an overall happy experience. I was very impressed with the Mineral Deed form, especially with the instructions to fill it out AND a copy of a completed for to compare against. This definitely saved me money for an attorney. The one thing I don't understand, though, is why I could not save the completed Deed to my hard drive. I did have to change a few things after the fact and I had to re-type the entire page to make the corrections. If not for this, I would definitely rate the forms and instructions as a 5 star.

I didn't have any problem downloading and filling out the form on my computer and printing it yesterday. I didn't know what to put for "Source of Title". I called the county recording office; they didn't know either and said to leave it blank. I got the form notarized at my bank and took it in to the recording office. They checked it, accepted it, I paid a fee, and it's done. So easy. My children will appreciate that I've done this. Added note: You do have one typo on your form--you left out 'at'. It should read: "You should carefully read all information at the end of this form."
