- Maximum Principal Indebtedness for Tennessee Recording Tax Purposes is $0 (If amount is listed taxes must be paid)
Current Borrowers must be notified of the assignment. Notification consists of contact information of the new creditor, recording dates, recording instrument numbers, changes in loan, etc. Included are "Notice of Assignment of Deed of Trust" forms.
The Truth and lending act requires that borrowers be notified when their Deed of Trust debt has been sold, transferred, or assigned to a new creditor. Generally, within 30 days to avoid up to $2,000.00 in statutory damages, plus reasonable attorney's fees. Systematic violations can reach up $500,000.00.

I believe you need more instruction on the use of the web site. I would type and nothing would appear on the form. When I tried to save a completed form I ended with a blank form with no detail.

The form was short, and explainable.. so that is my feed back on that...but we have not received anything back to actually see if we filled the form out correctly. I was so happy I found a way to register my deed electronically! The county I live in only does e-file through vendors who service law firms and large volume documents. I had everything done electronically only to hit a brick wall doing warp speed when it came to this last part. So far everything is going super smooth and very easy. The price is worth it to be able to get this deed done because I'm doing a life estate deed to my late boyfriends daughter.
