Using an Indemnity Agreement to Protect from Liens in Tennessee

Property owners can protect themselves from a mechanic's lien on their land by executing an indemnity agreement binding both the contractor and indemnity company. By entering into an agreement, the insurer agrees to pay the contractor any amount that could otherwise be enforced through a lien placed on the property. The website was easy to navigate but only needed one form. The guide was helpful also. Cost want high but contains many documents that I didn't need but may someday. Could not save form after completed but printed copies that needed to be court filed.

It wasn't really what I needed I read and read and read and read and I thought I was to do with for filing for probate or probate executor but instead it was for the property if you are executor and but it wasn't very clear on that so it didn't work for me so I was kind of wasted money

The instructions and example for filling out the form were very clear and detailed making the whole process fairly easy. An attorney I talked to wanted $200 to fill out this simple form. I haven't tried to file it yet but I will let you know if there are any issues. Really a great deal. $20 vs $200.
