Would be nice to have a better description on how to complete the forms if it is separated couple and one is signing the deed over to the other. I am still unsure how it should be worded. Disappointed that the guide didn't have better explanations.

The process was easy going. The process is one thing, the results another. I have attempting to resolve this matter, of claiming sole ownership of the property for several YEARS. I lost my Bride of 65 years in 2015. A lawyer I hired failed in his attempt, so I'm waiting to see the actual results. I searched on line for the blank forms I needed, everyone that said it's free was a part m they wanted to sign me up for a monthly membership, deeds.com had the forms that I can download and fill in, I paid $24 and got more than I needed, very easy company to deal with, I highly recommend them.

Good site. Two things to note. 1. The Documentary Transfer Tax Exemption sheet, the word "computer" is used when I think it should be "computed" Error in state form? 2. The California Trust Guide could have a watermark which is less distracting. Kind of hard to read the print with the DEEDS.COM logo so prominent.

First time using Deeds.com. Downloaded the PDF forms for creating an Illinois Mortgage and Promissory Note. Filled them out, saved them, and printed them out. Going to send them to my Title Company for closing on a property. Save a bunch of money on not have to pay lawyer fees for creating the same legal documents that Deeds.com provided.

The process was not difficult but I don't think that it suited my needs. There were several fields that were not applicable to me but I had to enter something to proceed. I also filled out the other form and mailed it in with some documentation that the electronic service did not ask for. Questions of my attempt are still unanswered. I hope I didn't waste time with this process. We shall see. Thank you.
