Warren County’s Recorder of Deeds, Lisa Burkhouse, has requested that we remove the county’s public contact information and recording fees from Deeds.com.

Most recorder offices work with us so residents can quickly find accurate recording fees, office addresses, and phone numbers. Warren County has chosen a different approach and asked us not to display their details.

This naturally makes it harder for Warren County residents to quickly access the office’s basic contact information — but this is the direction the Recorder has chosen.
It’s unclear why a public office would prefer less public accessibility, but we have honored the request exactly as it was presented.

We respect the request… even if it is a bit unusual.
