When to Release/Withdraw a Lis Pendens in Alabama
A lis pendens is filed to give notice that a suit is pending on a specific property. That notice is filed in probate court, in the county(s) where the land is located. Upon settlement or termination of the case and by court order it is customary to file a "Withdrawal of Lis Pendens" document. Usually within 30 days of such event. [See Alabama Code 35-4-136. I appreciated the fact that the forms were by Texas County and I knew I had the right form. The form were fairly easy to complete. I had trouble completing the form because the property description was long and kept disappearing and I had to re-type. It would also have helped it I could have saved and not had to start over every time.

My rating is not a 5. Although it had good instructions, it would NOT print the whole document no matter how many times I inputted the names. I ended up writing it in to complete. I also recommend putting it on one page. I had to pay an additional fees per page and if I had to notarize it, why did I have to find 2 witnesses as well. I deserve a discount for the time I spent repeatedly putting the same data. I was trying to save money since Im on social security only. It didnt. Get it to work correctly

I would absolutely use this service again. It was very convenient and I was pleasantly surprised at how responsive the staff was letting me know updates to my recording package. Also, my documents recorded immediately. I did have trouble uploading my document in the beginning because I didn't realize it had to be a pdf file. Once I figured that out, it was immediately accepted. Great service!

It all started out well, then I was abruptly told that I would have to submit the documents directly to the recording office. No explanation was offered and I wasted a lot of time on your website for nothing. Very disappointing, as the concept of e-recording is what is needed in 2026.
We reviewed your order and our support messages. The document uploaded for recording was a very low-quality scan that did not meet the county’s eRecording image requirements. Our staff asked that a clearer scan be uploaded, but the same image was submitted again.
Because the document could not be processed electronically, we advised recording it directly with the county recorder’s office.
E-recording systems require clear, legible document images that meet county standards. When those requirements cannot be met, recording directly with the recorder is often the fastest option.

Product was ok; except in divorce cases there are usually two grantors - your form had only one signature and notary line for a grantor on the Quitclaim deed.
