What is an Arkansas Lis Pendens?
A Lis Pendens is notification of a pending suit. This notifies potential buyers that the property is under pending litigation and that they would be subject to the outcome of said litigation if they purchased the property. This in effect puts a cloud on the title. [ It shall be necessary for the plaintiff or any one (1) of the plaintiffs, if there is more than one (1) plaintiff, or his or her attorney or agent to file a notice of the pendency of the suit, for record with the recorder of deeds of the county in which the property to be affected by the constructive notice is situated. 16-59-101]
An Arkansas Lis Pendens must contain:

General Object of the case
Full description of the property involved
Names of Parties to the suit
Style of the Court where suit is pending

Price seemed high (~$28) for just some forms (especially because we may not actually use the forms), but it beats navigating the Hawaii state and Honolulu county websites for forms. It would be better if a single button push would download all 7 or 8 forms.

Thank you for your feedback Lanette. In review, it looks like your first payment was declined, second one was approved and processed. What you are seeing is one payment and a hold placed by your financial institution for the declined attempt. We are not sure why they do this but the hold usually falls off after a few day depending on their policy. I am not very happy about the fact that I paid 27.00 to not even have the forms filled out. I thought that it was going to be all done for me and I was told that I need a lawyer to have the form filled out properly.
