Use this assignment to assign a current mortgage to another entity. This is usually done when the mortgage has been sold.
Any mortgage of real property that has been or may hereafter be recorded shall be assigned by an instrument acknowledging the assignment of such mortgage. , (signed by the mortgagee or such mortgagee's duly authorized attorney in fact, assignee of record, personal representative or by the lender or a designated closing agent acting as a closing agent in the sale, financing or refinancing of the real estate subject to such mortgage who has caused the indebtedness to be paid in full upon compliance with K.S.A. 58-2309a, and amendments thereto, and duly acknowledged and certified as other instruments affecting real estate. Such instrument shall contain the name of the mortgagor and mortgagee, a legal description of the property and the volume and page in which the mortgage is recorded.)(58-2306(a))
Where the mortgagee or assignee of record is a firm or partnership, such mortgage shall be assigned or discharged by an instrument acknowledging the assignment or satisfaction of such mortgage as hereinbefore provided. Such instrument shall be signed either by each member of the firm or partnership, or by the firm or partnership, or by the firm or partnership by one of the members thereof. (58-2306(c))

I am an attorney who was trying to draft some deeds in arizona. The deed templates coupled with the document instructions saved me hours work. At 1st I was skeptical, so spent hours figuring out how to draft the documents, but could have saved so much time If I had just spend the $20 sooner. Would use again is needed a deed format as a basis for my drafting.

I was somewhat disappointed though - I was expecting something as impressive as the Title Search, which goes back to 1828 and includes Millard Fillmore, admittedly not one of our most celebrated Presidents. This is a wonderful service and your staff is very responsive through the chat. My one suggestion is that there be an added sentence to your instructions that sates that once you upload there is nothing more to do as in a "submit" or "Finished uploading" button. After uploading instinct says there is something to click to let you all know that we have finished with our uploads.
