What is the Mississippi Lis Pendens
When a suit is filed in any court, affecting title to real property, a Lis Pendens should be filed with the Clerk of the Chancery Court, in any and all county's where said property is located. A Mississippi Lis Pendens requires:
(The Names of all parties to the suit) (A description of the real estate) A brief statement of the nature of the complaint 11-47-3
At which time the Clerk will immediately file the Lis Pendens to become public notice. 11-47-9

Would be nice to have a better description on how to complete the forms if it is separated couple and one is signing the deed over to the other. I am still unsure how it should be worded. Disappointed that the guide didn't have better explanations.

I ordered a Quit Claim Deed for my county. Once I read the detailed instructions and filled it out I submitted it to the local Register of Deeds and it was filed on the spot while I waited! I have an apple phone. I could not fill in the form to pay because apple phones do not have a dash that can be used when the field requires a phone number with a dash. I had to borrow an android phone in which the telephone keypad had a dash that could be used. It was easy to pay using an android phone but impossible to pay using an apple phone. Remove the requirement for dashes to allow apple phones to use this service.
