The Montana Uniform Probate Code (UPC), codified under Title 72 of the Montana Code, governs probate in that state.
A personal representative (PR), who may also be referred to as either an executor or administrator, is the fiduciary appointed to manage the decedent's estate. The personal representative's deed of distribution is an instrument used in probate proceedings as evidence that a distributee has succeeded to the decedent's interest in real property ( 72-3-904, MCA).
PR deeds must meet all state and local standards, and may need supporting information, depending on the situation. Record the completed deed in the county clerk/recorder's office of the county wherein the subject property is located to transfer title to distributees. This transaction requires a Realty Transfer Certificate, but no sales information as per 15-7-307(9), MCA.

I was able to download the TOD deed form with no issues and it showed immediately. I appreciate that there is a sample provided on how to complete the form. Once downloaded this form is yours and can be changed ,if you make an error. This form is not complicated and is recognized by the County Court House where I filed the document. I liked having the forms. Some may need to know they can look at the legal Description from online county records, then type up in Word document line by line, the degree sign in Word program is achieved by using alt and 248 on number pad. Then on the form page one write SEE Exibit A and title your Word program description as Exibit A. Goes without saying the legal description should be looked over many times and it is easier to do so if you format your Word the same lineage as the legal description online which is usually not text which is why you have to retype it.
