Confirming a Transfer of Nebraska Real Estate after Death of principle.
Under Nebraska Revised Statutes section 76-214, deeds and other instruments transferring title submitted for recording must be accompanied by a statement containing details about the transfer. Form 521, found on the websites for most counties or at http://www.revenue.nebraska.gov/PAD/forms/521_Real_Estate_Transfer_Statement.pdf meets most of these requirements.
Transfers resulting from a property owner's death, such as those under transfer on death deeds or joint tenancies, may require additional information (76-214(1), (2)). In those situations, including a cover sheet that contains the extra details assists the recording office and reduces the chance of delays in processing.

Great to have a downloadable form, rather than a cloud solution that gives no guarantee of privacy. Appreciated the sample.......but all of that still left me with open issues about how to tweak the form to serve my particular needs......for example: how to ensure that survivor rights were properly characterized; how far back I should go with the "Source" section + how I should layer my own additions to the chain of ownership, etc. Nonetheless, an overall happy experience. Deeds was responsive and got back to me right away suggesting I go to the county and retrieve copies of the deed there. It's a couple of hundred miles away so was hoping I could do it online. A pretty good website though. Sorry we couldn't do business.

Good so far could use more examples for each section of info. needed. ex. (parcel and alt.ID info where to find and etc. #2 more examples. If it was not for the red print examples helping to fill the form out I could have downloaded free forms, the examples are what made me choose your form !
