Private seller-financed sales of rural or agricultural property
4. Agricultural or Rural Property Sales
Used to allow gradual ownership over larger tracts of land.

Sellers may use a contract for deed to sell fixer-uppers or homes needing repair to investors or owner-occupants who intend to renovate during the term of the contract.

We aimed to handle a survivorship affidavit (deed change) without a lawyer following my dad's death. After some searching, deeds.com seemed to have the most comprehensive and "correct looking" form we could find for our locale, so we went with it, and it was accepted by our recorder's office. The experience was generally very satisfactory. I was able to fill out the Trust Deed and send it via email no problem. However, I was not able to send the filled out form of the Note. It always erased my fill-ins when it was sent. I found that very frustrating.
