In South Carolina a Lis Pendens (affecting title to real property) can be recorded by the plaintiff, with the County Recorder's Office up to 20 days before the actual Court Case is filed (or at any time afterwards). The pdf form is good; however, the input boxes merge into the line above so the text is hard to read when complete. I added a return before entering my data and this solved the problem.
