Completing the Change of Property Rights from a Wisconsin Transfer on Death Deed
When a grantor/owner of real estate under a Wisconsin transfer on death deed dies, the named beneficiary or beneficiaries gain the rights to the property by function of law. Even though this transfer is, in theory, automatic, the best way to ensure accurate and up-to-date ownership records is to file a completed and notarized transfer on death to beneficiary form TOD-110 with the register of deeds for the county where the land is located. By recording this document, the new owner formalizes the transfer and provides public notice of the new status.

I LOVE that very concise directions and a sample completed deed were included. They were incredibly helpful. Deeds.com recorded documents for me without any issue. It's a good service and provides a lot of assistance on its web site. However, I asked for a printed receipt (i.e. an pdf copy of one), but after a staff provided me with an obvious answer, they simply ignored my follow up requests. I also asked a simple formatting question that they should have been able to answer; instead, they passed the buck and referred me to the recorder, which currently is a very time-consuming venture. They also have no telephone number for any issue. Generally, the service saves me the time and effort of physically recording a document, but when you think about $19.00 per recording seems like a steep price for the services rendered.
