Fee schedule effective July 1, 2025.
StatewideNo fee is allowed for filing or recording a certificate of death, a verification of death document, or a certified copy thereof. County governments are exempt from the fees when the county or any agency thereof is the grantor or grantee. Section 30-1-103 is repealed effective December 31, 2029.
The office's schedule lists General Recording at $43.00 per document and Plat Maps and Surveys at $43.00 per map. UCC filings: 1-2 page forms (in office) $13.00 per form; 3+ page forms (in office) $18.00 per form; electronic filings $8.00 flat fee per form. Military Discharge Papers (DD214): no charge. Copies: 8.5 in. x 14 in. $0.50 per page; 11 in. x 17 in. $1.00 per page; 24 in. x 36 in. (full map) $5.00. Certified copies: $1.00 per certification plus copy fee per page.

Transfer tax
Documentary fee. One cent for each one hundred dollars, or major fraction thereof, of such consideration, when the total consideration exceeds five hundred dollars. The tax is collected when the document is recorded. (statewide, C.R.S. 39-13-102(2))
StatewideThe documentary fee is payable to and collected by the county clerk and recorder, in addition to any other recording fee. No documentary fee is payable when there is no consideration or the total consideration is five hundred dollars or less. When real property in two or more counties is conveyed in a single transaction, each clerk collects a portion of the fee in proportion to the consideration attributable to the property in that county. (C.R.S. 39-13-102)
