Colorado law doesn't provide for any mandated documents to release a lien, so how can a claimant (someone who filed a claim for lien against a property owner) accomplish this? When a lien has been satisfied, or needs to be released for any other purpose, use a lien release form.
The lien release form contains information about the lien claimant, the underlying mechanic's lien, and the property charged with the lien. By recording the document, the clerk at the recorder's office can locate the original lien and mark it as "discharged."

I purchased this form to add my boyfriend to the deed of our home. He owns his own business so he cannot be on our mortgage. The guide doesn't clearly explain adding a person rather than focusing on transferring during a purchase or selling of a home. For future, I'd recommend make a few different examples for those who are trying to use this for the other options a Quit Claim Deed is needed for.

Well, we are 10 days from leaving the country for months and needed to notarize and record deed changes to our rental properties. We worried about USPS, UPS, DHL, etc. and hardcopies in the County's bureaucrats' hands. Soooo, we learned of Deeds.com from the County web site via one of the bulk digital recorders telling me about Deeds.com. The pdf form is good; however, the input boxes merge into the line above so the text is hard to read when complete. I added a return before entering my data and this solved the problem.
