Subcontractor's Notice to Preserve Lien Rights in New Hampshire
Mechanic's liens are governed under Chapter 447 of the New Hampshire Statutes.
In order to claim a mechanic's lien in New Hampshire (and most other states) for labor or materials, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers must provide preliminary, or pre-lien notices to preserve their right to claim a lien.
If a person performs labor, provides professional design services, or furnishes materials valued at $15.00 or more, by virtue of a contract with an agent, contractor or subcontractor of the owner, the person shall have a right to a lien, provided that he or she gives notice in writing to the owner or an authorized representative before performing the labor or furnishing the material for which it is claimed. NH RSA 447:5. This notice identifies the parties, the location and nature of the work, and the project.
Such notice may also be given after the work is provided. The lien shall be valid to the extent of the amount then due or that may become due to the contractor, agent or subcontractor of the owner. NH RSA 447:6. The account required under RSA 447:8 may also be given when the notice is delivered. Id.

You charge too much for a form. Your business model is shortsighted. I would not try to use your service again. You got $20 from me this once, but I would try very hard to not use your service again. Your model does not encourage serial or professional usage.

tl;dr - Bookmarked and anticipating using this site for years to come. My justification for rating 5/5 1. Provide intuitive method for requesting property records. 2. Cost for records *seems reasonable. 3. They clearly state that interested parties could gather these records at more affordable costs through the county (which was more confusing for an inexperienced person such as myself). I mean, I appreciate and respect this level of honesty. *I didn't shop around too much because it was difficult for me to find other services that could deliver CA property records.

I liked the service very much. The form I ordered wasn't provided by the local government agency and I couldn't find it on the internet. This site was easy to use for access to State forms for filing in Montmorency County clerks office. Not only did I find claim form but a sample claim was available for assisting on how to complete your form correctly. Found this so very useful for us (public resident) to fill in the form as a .PDF file that prints out typed form - rather than handwritten entries. There is a fee but your access is always available on internet to this site in the future. Saved me time using this site and My filed form looks professional. You have access to several other forms if needed.
