Required information:

A North Carolina Lis Pendens can be filed:
1. At or any time after a suit is filed
2. (At or any time after the real property has been attached, or)
3. (At or any time after the filing of an answer or other pleading in which the pleading party states an affirmative claim for relief falling within the provisions of subsection (a) of this section.) ( 1-116)

After some initial general confusion -- (we sold a small piece of land privately and therefore do not typically prepare such documentation (!)) -- we were able to purchase and download all forms from Deeds.com and understand how to complete it/them. The help is all there, we just needed to read and study it - the "Example" helped alot. We were able to complete the Document per your online form(s) and then take it to be signed/notarized - and take the completed paper document to the Registry -- and it is now all registered and we are All Set. rn Took the morning (only). descriptions for some areas were longer than what would print out on document - it showed and was visible on the form but would not print out - for example in the legal description. would be nice in fill in areas could be extended as needed
