What is the South Carolina Lis Pendens Release
Cancellation Notice of Lis Pendens
Under certain conditions, the Court may order that a Lis Pendens be cancelled (by the clerk of any county in whose office the notice was filed or recorded.) A Lis Pendens can also be cancelled by the person who filed it, at (any time after the action has been settled, discontinued, abated, or dismissed by a court of law by the submission of a written notice of cancellation to the clerk of court of each county in which a notice was filed or recorded.) SECTION 15-11-40.

Great do it yourself forms (I used the Quitclaim deed). If you think you're going to need a lot of hand holding you might consider hiring an attorney. The guide and general information provided by deeds.com will help if you have some idea of what you are doing and you are willing to research a little. Your mileage may vary but for me, this was a very efficient and economical way to get my quitclaim deed done.

Great Job guys! I would not even have thought to look for this service. The county recorder's office and kiosks are all closed because of covid. You could make instructions clearer on the download process and when download is complete. You could also group things together for 1 or 2 "big" downloads.

I downloaded the quit claim deed form and saved it on my computer. I opened it with Adobe and filled it out. The space for the legal description was too small (2 lines only) which did not allow enough room for the long property description that I had.
