Record this form with the Sussex County Recorder when a mortgage has been satisfied/paid in full. In general, to avoid penalty (the legal holder of such mortgage or conveyance at the time the satisfaction or performance is completed shall, within 60 days after satisfaction or performance is completed, cause an entry of such satisfaction) to be made. [Whoever, being the holder of a mortgage, willfully fails to satisfy a mortgage upon the record as required by subsection (a) of this section shall be fined not more than $1,000 for each such failure together with assessed costs, for each failure, not to exceed $1,000.] ((Delaware Code Title 25. Property 2111(a)) / [ Title 25. Property 2111(e))]

I didn't have any problem downloading and filling out the form on my computer and printing it yesterday. I didn't know what to put for "Source of Title". I called the county recording office; they didn't know either and said to leave it blank. I got the form notarized at my bank and took it in to the recording office. They checked it, accepted it, I paid a fee, and it's done. So easy. My children will appreciate that I've done this. Added note: You do have one typo on your form--you left out 'at'. It should read: "You should carefully read all information at the end of this form."

I'm very impressed. We're a small nonprofit, and we usually walk our documents into our county offices for recording. I saved 225.00 with this purchase.Make sure you have an updated property description from your county tax collectors' office.In Bay county,Florida the tax office will email you an updated property description.I attached the email to the the deed.I had to change the date and they accepted a white out and ink correction on your form.
