Upon completion of the contract or improvement and upon receipt of the contract price, the contractor must deliver by registered mail or otherwise to the owner or owners of the real property a sworn affidavit stating that all liens have been paid in full or will be paid in full no later than ten (10) days from the date a bill is rendered for such services. Tenn. Prop. Code 66-11-205. The sworn affidavit must be executed and signed in the presence of a notary public.
The notice identifies the parties, the location and nature of the work or improvements, relevant dates, and anything else necessary for the specific situation.

Thank you for your feedback Lanette. In review, it looks like your first payment was declined, second one was approved and processed. What you are seeing is one payment and a hold placed by your financial institution for the declined attempt. We are not sure why they do this but the hold usually falls off after a few day depending on their policy. Deeds.com was such a blessing in order for me to get something done that my lawyers could not get done. Transferring a mineral right from my deceased parents to me and my husband. The mineral company person I worked with went above and beyond helping me fill the paperwork out perfectly so that it had “right of survivorship” (and other things phrased properly) so that either my husband or I won’t have the issue I have had.
