This power of attorney is "Durable" (not terminated by the principal's incapacity) (3-9-102)(ii)

The paperwork was fine but it was just paperwork. Georgia does not accept a paper form. The form must be transmitted electronically through a registered account. Using an attorney may have been the simple way to file the cancellation.

I thought the instructions could have been a little better. I didn't know how to do this if the spouses are married but living in separate residences. Also I didn't understand the "Prior Instrument Reference". That should be explained better. Very sketchy instructions.

Well, we are 10 days from leaving the country for months and needed to notarize and record deed changes to our rental properties. We worried about USPS, UPS, DHL, etc. and hardcopies in the County's bureaucrats' hands. They must have busy when I applied. The screen said it should be done in under10 mins unless heavier traffic. I was a little nervous because of a time deadline. It was completed in 45 mins and for under $30 it was worth every penny to have my deed details at my fingertips. So I give it a 5 on ease of use and quick handling. You can get it done less expensively, but great in a time crunch.
