I downloaded the quit claim deed form and saved it on my computer. I opened it with Adobe and filled it out. The space for the legal description was too small (2 lines only) which did not allow enough room for the long property description that I had.

I called the county clerk office yesterday that i wanted to get a deed e-filed and recorded. I was told they are not accepting documents in person because of the COVID 19 pandemic that I have to mail it. I found Deeds.com online and in less than 24hrs i have my document. I purchased this form to add my boyfriend to the deed of our home. He owns his own business so he cannot be on our mortgage. The guide doesn't clearly explain adding a person rather than focusing on transferring during a purchase or selling of a home. For future, I'd recommend make a few different examples for those who are trying to use this for the other options a Quit Claim Deed is needed for.
