StatewideIf a document being filed or recorded contains more than ten entries to the county recording index, the county clerk collects an additional fee of $25.00 for each additional block of ten or fewer entries to the county recording index from the document (NMSA 1978, § 14-8-15(C)). Of each $25.00 fee, $18.00 is deposited in the county general fund and $7.00 in the county clerk recording and filing fund (§ 14-8-15(E)).
Plat maps (small/large) $25.00; survey maps $25.00; printouts $1.00; microfilm copies $1.00. For document search lists, the office charges the listed amount per page along with a search fee depending on the amount of documents.
