Otherwise, if the paying spouse defaults, a spouse may be able to enforce their dower rights if the spouse is not on the deed. I didn't care for it because I was having to do other things in between filling it out and all of a sudden it would not allow me back in it to make changes. Luckily I had saved it and then had to do FILL/SIGN option which looks ugly but that was the only way I could add what I needed.

The Affidavit- Death of Joint Tenant form you provided is not the same form as showed on the Los Angeles County property tax website. It appears that the LA county form requires entering additional info that is not included in your form.

I thought the website was good. But once I paid the money and downloaded the papers I needed for Grays Harbor. I had to end up calling a escrow company that we had worked with only to find out that they work with a slightly different version. The escrow company was kind enough to email me the version Grays Harbor recommends and uses. There is a chance I could use theses in the future.

Very good information. Easy access and easy to download. All the forms needed for TOD to be notarized and recorded with the county office. Much better than working with a Trust and the expense of lawyers, especially when several parties are involved and the owner of said property knows exactly to whom the property should go. Having forms and instructions available for the public to have their wishes recorded and confirmed makes handling final planning much easier and prevents family members from having the unnecessary task of going through court to solve property distribution issues.
