Questions answered? Let's get started!
A Hawaii quitclaim deed for a single grantor carries the simplest signature architecture a conveyance can have: one individual releases whatever right, title, and interest that person holds in Hawaii real property, under one signature line and one acknowledgment certificate. The form recites one grantor by name, marital status, and mailing address, and it conveys without any covenant or warranty of title. This Hawaii Quitclaim Deed (Individual Grantor) is a fillable form prepared for the recording standards of the state Bureau of Conveyances.
A release of interest, not a promise about title
Hawaii has no statutory short form deed, so a quitclaim deed, sometimes searched as a quit claim deed, does its work through its own words. This form remises, releases, and forever quitclaims the grantor's interest to the grantee, and it states plainly that no covenant or warranty of title is made. The grantee receives exactly what the grantor holds at delivery, subject to the matters affecting the title. That posture is the instrument's defining trade: no title assurance, in exchange for a short, direct conveyance of the kind that commonly moves property between people who already know the state of the title.
One grantor, one certificate
The form recites exactly one individual grantor signing in that person's own capacity, with a single signature line and a single acknowledgment certificate. Two record owners passing a shared interest, a trustee conveying trust property, and an entity or agent conveyance each present a different recital and signature pattern, and this form is not set up as any of them. The single grantor pattern appears throughout the Hawaii record: a former co-owner releasing an interest after a divorce decree divides the property, a family member passing a fractional interest to a relative, and an owner clearing a stray interest that a title search surfaced. The certificate on the form carries the substance Hawaii law makes certificate material, including the notary's judicial circuit, the document date and description, and the page count of the recorded deed.
Built for the statewide recording desk
Every Hawaii document records at one office, the Bureau of Conveyances in Honolulu, under two parallel systems: the Regular System, where recording gives notice and priority, and the Land Court, where registration on a certificate of title is the operative act for registered land. The first page of this deed is drawn to the geometry both systems read. The top 3.5 inches stay clear for the registrars' recording information, the following one inch strip carries the return address beginning 1.5 inches from the left edge, and the tax map key and a Land Court certificate of title line sit on page one with the parties. The deed prints on letter size single sheets, single sided, with the grantor and grantee names, the document type, and the parcel identification on the first page, the intake standard the Bureau publishes.
The conveyance tax certificate rides along
Hawaii bars recording of a taxable conveyance until the conveyance tax is addressed. A Form P-64A conveyance tax certificate computes the tax on the actual and full consideration, and a Form P-64B claims one of the statutory exemption categories, which include certain nominal consideration transfers of the kind that often travel by quitclaim; the certificates are state tax forms prepared separately and not included in this package. One certificate or the other accompanies the deed at the recording desk, where the Bureau collects any tax due. The included guide walks through the certificate requirement, the current recording fees for both systems, and the stamped self-addressed envelope the Bureau expects with a document returned by mail.
The download delivers the blank quitclaim deed as a fillable PDF, a completed example showing the entire document filled in for a realistic Honolulu fact pattern, and a plain language guide that walks through every section of the form and the recording process at the Bureau of Conveyances. The materials describe Hawaii law and the form in general terms and are not legal advice.

I would make just two suggestions. (1) Create and example showing multiple grantor(s) and (2) In the same example, show where and estate is conveyed to two or more people. It would help in knowing the correct format.
Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate it. Have a great day!

My first time using it; very fast service. I am an estate planning attorney (44 years). None of my old title company contacts are around anymore to provide deed copies, so this is a great source. I will be using it again.
Thank you Lawrence, we appreciate your feedback. Have a fantastic day!
